A proven executive possessing decades of professional and paramilitary experience and leadership, Amy Courter began preparing for her career as a student at Kalamazoo College, where she earned a bachelor of arts in psychology and education along with a secondary teaching certificate in computer science and mathematics. Later, she earned a Certificate of Nonprofit Board Education from BoardSource. Currently, she is pursuing both an executive certificate in leadership with Notre Dame University and an advanced master’s certificate in Lean Six Sigma with Villanova University. Simultaneously, Amy Courter serves as chief executive officer for Advanced Materials Intl, Inc., a carbon fiber production firm she founded in 2010. In addition, Courter is president of the International Air Cadet Exchange Association.
Over the course of her career, Amy Courter has maintained ties with a diverse variety of professional organizations and associations. These include the National Defense Industrial Association, the Detroit Economic Club, and the Air Force Association. Furthermore, she served on the corporate boards of directors for Valassis Relationship Marketing Systems and Save.com.
